Set in present day Los Angeles, this psychological drama uncovers deep layers of deception in a Chinese-American family.

Patrick Linton (Joe Lando), a convict, escapes while being transported from one maximum security prison to another. During ten years of incarceration for the murder of his parents, Patrick has plotted revenge. He makes his way to the house of Mr. Hong, his father's former business partner, who Patrick believes killed his father and set him up to take the fall. What he discovers there foils his plan for revenge. Mr. Hong has died. Mr. Hong's son, Dr. Daniel Hong (Chin Han) lives in the house with his blind mother, (Lisa Lu) and unhappy wife Natalie. Natalie was Patrick's love before the murders; Daniel was his friend and fellow medical student.

Amidst the clash of old world Chinese traditions, a cat and mouse game of shifting alliances transpires.
