(West Palm Beach, FL)-- PAX TV premieres "Devil Winds," a PAX original movie for November sweeps, starring Joe Lando ("Higher Ground," "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman") and Nicole Eggert ("Baywatch," "Charles In Charge"). This gripping story features an acclaimed meteorologist and tornado chaser who flees after a major tornado unexpectedly hits his hometown, only to find himself years later given a second chance to save his beloved town from total devastation premieres Saturday, November 1, 9:00-11:00 pm (ET/PT).

In the movie, Peter Jensen (Lando) is a meteorologist and storm chaser who forecasts a major tornado. When the storm takes an unpredicted turn into his hometown of Tyler, Oklahoma Peter is left widowed and homeless. Devastated by nature's cruelty, Peter leaves Tyler and his life's work, taking his daughter, Kara (Erica Parker) away from any memory of that horrific day. Kara grows up longing to revisit her hometown, and after graduating high school, she moves back to Tyler to live with her grandmother and attend college. It's not until Kara's college graduation that Peter faces his worst memory and returns to the town that he once loved. Julia Merrow (Eggert), a muck-raking reporter from a local TV station uncovers details of the deadly storm not yet knowing that another equally dangerous storm is brewing. After reacquainting himself with the town he used to love and reuniting with old friend and fellow storm chaser Bob Booker (Peter Graham), Peter is implored to chase another deadly storm that is, once again headed straight for Tyler. Worried that the Environmental Disease and Control Lab will be hit, sending deadly spores to ride the winds across the country, Peter faces the fight of his life. This is his last chance to face down his archenemy, a force of nature aptly called "The Devil Winds."
