DESCRIPTION: David Arthur Powell (Joe Lando) is Rutland, Montana's leading architect who is devastated when he gets fired from his dream project: designing the Rankin Dam. Corrupt Jordan Walker (Bruce Boxleitner) takes over the project, only to cut corners and pocket the remaining money. Unable to handle the defeat, David deserts his wife Natalie (Michele Greene) and his son Garth (Matthew Ewald) and moves to Seattle. Five years later, a terrible accident at the dam kills one of the engineers and David returns to Rutland only to be blamed for the tragedy. Upon inspection, David discovers that the faulty dam cannot sustain the intense pressure of the water, and it will be only a matter of time before the whole structure collapses, submerging the entire town of Rutland underwater. David must enlist the reluctant help of his son, also an engineering prodigy, and his wife who is the City Councilwoman responsible for the safety of the residents of Rutland. Together, they must battle against Jordan Walker, who insists the dam is safe, and race against time to save the town from a disaster that never should have happened in the first place.
