Burbank, CA — ABC Family airs the seventh episode of the original series WILDFIRE, Monday, Febreuary 27, 2006 (8:00 – 9:00 PM ET/PT).  

Confident in Kris and Wildfire, Pablo and Jean enter them into a race.  However, John Zack (the thug from Pablo’s past) resurfaces and threatens Kris if she doesn’t throw the race and allow Midnight Vulture to win.  Not knowing what to do, Kris approaches Davis for help.  Davis agrees to step in but in return Kris must ride Dani’s Picaro in the Del Mar Classic.  Wildfire wins the race and John Zack backs off, but Kris finds out that Wildfire will also be racing in the Del Mar Classic and she has committed herself to ride against him.  

Meanwhile, Matt finds out his father's true character, when he discovers that Pete sabotaged his previous clubs for the insurance money. 

WILDFIRE is ABC Family’s highest rated original series.  The series, produced by Lions Gate Television in association with Piller² and The Segan Company, centers on the struggles of a teenage girl (gifted newcomer Genevieve Cortese) to turn her life around.  The series also stars veteran actor Dennis Weaver ("McCloud"), Nana Visitor (“Star Trek: Deep Space Nine”), Greg Serano (“Kingpin”) and Micah Alberti ("All My Children").
